When we decided to replace our old carpeting with laminate flooring in our condominium, we conducted extensive research over a period of several months. All parties except Alliance Floor Source Inc., which was recommended to my wife by a co-worker, failed to mention the necessity either to level the concrete floors or to find an alternative living arrangement due to the amount of dust which accompanies this type of renovation. We are happy with the work of our contractors, with the price we paid, the fact that they adhered exactly to schedule, and the flooring looks beautiful. Also, the contractors were neat in the removal of the old carpet and when their work was completed, they left the work area presentable. The parties in the office at Alliance Floor Source Inc. were helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and reliable. The Alliance showroom is very well organized with plenty of flooring samples to choose from. The bulk of our dealings were with Mike Witt who was there for us throughout this renovation. Our office needed a new carpet to maintain a professional appearance and installation had to work around our business hours. Lehel brought a good selection of samples for our perusal and made the choice very easy. The crew arrived on time and the entire job was completed with no disturbance to routine and the worksite was left in excellent shape. We would recommend them.
I had a separation in my hardwood floors (which were installed by a different company). I needed them fixed ASAP as I was selling my home and had an open house the next day. The owner, Lehel, assured me the work would be completed before the open house. The next morning he came to my home himself to fix the floors. He did an amazing job and the floors look brand new! Great service, excellent work.
Lehel and Timea are the only people you need to see about flooring. They are fair, honest, reliable, courteous, funny and a pleasure to do business with. The work is superior and if there's ever a problem, they fix it right away. This is our second time using Alliance, and if I ever need flooring again, I know exactly where to go and what to expect. I recommend them to everyone I know.
2012-11-01 22:09:51 I used Alliance Floor Source before and was very satisfied. Therefore, it was natural that I'd want to repeat the experience when I recently needed additional flooring work to be done at the house. The owner came out, did the measurements and came back with a quote. Just of curiosity, I decided to get a couple of competing quotes although my decision to go with Alliance was already made. Well, one quote was lower; however, closer examination revealed that the competitor quoted for less in terms of wood quality ...the devil is in the details. Another competitor's quote was slightly more but did not provide anything in addition. So, I'm patting myself on the back for going with Alliance. They came exactly as agreed, on time. The installers were professional and friendly. The work was completed to my full satisfaction, with only one exception. I addressed that exception (staining of the riser on a step). They attended to it immediately, again to my full satisfaction. On a rating of 0-9 with 0 being a "disaster" and 9 being "perfect", I have to give Alliance a 9/9. Well done. I'm quite pleased and satisfied. I would highly recommend Alliance Floor Source to anyone who's looking for a high class job, done on time and at a reasonable price.
